Compared to Vile Haint, this project draws more of a distinction between the bluegrass/Americana influenced pieces and the black metal sections. A great complement to the overall vision. That digipack looked sweet so I had to order one. Matt A

9 out of 10 metal bands sound the same and are not memorable whatsoever. Crestfallen Dusk is the opposite. It's artistic yet stays fun, and you can tell it's created by the mind of a music nerd, which is a real treat. I'm not a huge southern blues fan, but who doesn't love some SVR? I have about 300 records in my collection, and this slips into almost (if not) top 5 territory for me. Great album. pwangler0521

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub
