Matt A I really, really love all these Moonlight Cypress Archetypes projects. Being from the southern Appalachians myself I very much appreciate the feel of the area that they apply to this really solid and well-performed black metal template. Primeval Well and Crestfallen Dusk are also fantastic. Glad to see that these guys are so prolific, I'll be keeping up with everything coming down the pipe! Favorite track: Rural Sorcery In Early America.

Back Off Warchild. Seriously. What a nice surprise this album was in 2021. If it doesn't make your EOTY list then you're doing it wrong. Favorite track: Empty Haunted Fields.

Diego It is a remarkable work with a lot of quality.
The chaotic and raw production deepens the sinister nuances of the work, managing to plunge us into a cursed swamp where the demons swim. Favorite track: Ol' Hatchie Haint.
